When I’m useful

  1. Your team has more product work than it can absorb.

Add senior Rails capacity without committing to a full-time hire.

  2. An important feature is still ambiguous.

Turn an unclear problem into a focused scope and a reliable production solution.

  3. A complex product area needs an owner.

Hand over a migration, integration, or business-critical workflow from discovery through release.

  4. You need less supervision, not more.

Work with someone who challenges assumptions, makes decisions, and communicates clearly.

Selected work

Hubflo

Joined as the fourth engineer and spent more than four years helping build the product from its early MVP into an international B2B SaaS. Owned complex product work across billing, multi-currency, CRM, mobile apps, security, APIs, and integrations.

Astrabaz

Designed the software architecture for the map module and implemented it for a market-surveillance product, working directly with the founder in a three-person team and later returning to extend it.

How I work

I usually join small product teams for an ongoing, part-time freelance collaboration of 10–13 days per month. I take ownership of complex product problems—from clarifying what is actually needed to shipping and observing the solution in production—and collaborate directly with founders, CTOs, and product teams.

Longer-term collaborations are my preferred format. I can also take on a focused project when the scope, outcome, and constraints are clear.

  • Remote, in English or French
  • Direct collaboration with founders, CTOs, or product teams
  • Ownership from scoping to production
  • Asynchronous communication whenever practical

Client recommendation

“What I valued most wasn’t just his code — it was how he thought about the product. […] That mix of strong engineering and genuine product thinking made him a true partner, not just an executor.”
