Spent more than four years helping build and evolve Hubflo, a B2B SaaS platform for client portals and shared workspaces. I took ownership of complex product work from scoping and product trade-offs to implementation, testing, and production. Selected contributions: - Built and evolved client billing features, allowing Hubflo customers to create quotes, invoices, payment requests, recurring invoices, and manage related business rules. - Led a progressive multi-currency migration, updating the application architecture to support multiple currencies across customer billing and other business entities storing monetary amounts. - Connected forms and smartdoc workflows to CRM records and custom fields. - Built notification flows across email, SMS, and push, as well as white-label mobile experiences and secure authentication flows. - Built an integrated file viewer for images, PDFs, videos and audio using Rails and Turbo, without relying on JavaScript. - Worked on asynchronous previews, secure ZIP imports, APIs, integrations, performance, and security hardening. Owned complex product areas end to end, from initial requirements to production delivery.

I designed, built, and launched ParseMyMail, a Ruby on Rails SaaS for automation professionals that turned incoming emails into structured JSON data for use in their workflows. I owned the product end to end: initial positioning, UX, architecture, Rails development, landing page, deployment, and early user testing. The product didn't reach the adoption and retention needed to justify continuing it, so I eventually shut it down and archived the code publicly. More importantly, the experience changed how I approach new products. I now put much more emphasis on validating the problem and getting real commitment before investing heavily in development.

I returned to Astrabaz for a follow-up engagement focused on evolving its interactive map module. I expanded geographic exploration to a global scale, updated the Mapbox integration, added a globe view, enriched international categories and datasets, and improved existing user flows and performance.

I returned to Codeur for a freelance engagement, contributing to several existing Ruby on Rails applications across the group. I quickly got back up to speed on established codebases, then delivered new features and maintenance work with a high level of autonomy. The engagement also included work on existing Vue.js components.

In a three-person team made up of a non-technical founder, another engineer, and myself, I designed the software architecture for Astrabaz's main interactive map module and implemented it for a financial-market monitoring platform. I owned the feature end to end: domain modelling and Rails APIs, the Vue.js and Mapbox interface, geographic views, filters and search, aggregated trends, charts, asynchronous loading, responsive behaviour, and keyboard navigation. The work required understanding a complex financial domain, turning it into a usable product experience, and moving forward with a high level of autonomy.

A short one: advised on payment strategies, integrated Stripe's 3D Secure while reorganizing the code and fixing bugs, and wrote documentation for the developers after me.

Set up Stripe billing for their VOD platform: subscriptions or one-off rentals.

Contributed to the development and maintenance of Veepee Switzerland's e-commerce platform, a Ruby on Rails application with strong reliability and performance requirements. Worked on features, fixes, and upgrades in an established codebase and a more structured engineering environment.

I joined Codeur for my first Ruby on Rails developer role, working across several products including Codeur.com, Graphiste.com, Redacteur.com, and Facture.net. I contributed to new features, maintenance, and the evolution of existing Rails applications. I also designed and built the first version of Traduc.com, taking responsibility for a complete product early in my career. That experience taught me how to move between multiple products, understand different business needs, and take ownership beyond individual tickets.
